That's my post for the day because I'm busy with a term paper for school.

You wanna fix the GOP, less John McCain, more Jason Materra

The time has come to let old warriors like John McCain and others of his ilk take a back seat and let some young GOP Zealots like Jason Mattera, author of Hollywood Hypercritics, take a more prominent role in what the 21st century GOP should be.

What Jason Mattera preaches is that 21st century conservatives needs to be more active in taking back �Pop Culture� and in doing so take back the country. For far too long conservatives have shrugged their shoulders at what Pop Culture has become without making an effort to change it. Jason doesn�t believe that and is willing to put Liberals on the defensive with his ambush interviews to highlight Liberals shortcomings and look cool doing it. I believe Jason is on to something and we need hundreds of other Jason Metteras� going on offensive.

Maybe if the Afghans had apologized for the murder of U.S. servicemen, 16 fellow countrymen might still be alive today

I know what I�m writing will probably be quickly demised as unfair. Nonetheless, I feel it needs to be acknowledged given all the blood and treasure the United States has given to the people of Afghanistan.
I wouldn�t blame any U.S. soldier for thinking the Afghan military are a bunch of ungrateful sons of bitches. However, thinking and doing something about it are two different things.

President Obama was quick to offer up an apology to the Afghan people after some U.S. soldiers mistakenly burned some Korans. He said his apology helped calmed things down. But, just hours after his apology two American military personnel were murdered in a secure area by Afghan police. Was there an apology from Afghan President Hamid Karzai? No, he was probably too busy accepting another bribe.

So maybe all these inequities weighed on the mind of this one U.S. soldier and he or she snapped. I see a clear case for temporary insanity given all the pressure our military has to put up with. They�re supposed to fight a war with two hands tied behind their back. Now they can�t even feel safe in a safe zone without fearing some Afghan military going nuts on them.

All this falls on the plate of President Obama because Afghanistan was the war he wanted to fight all along. He said as much during the 2008 presidential campaign. Afghanistan was �the ball� we took our eyes off when we entered Iraq. Well, President Obama, this is your baby and your surge. Fix it!

NARAL uses photo Black woman in false ad: Birth Control under attack

Why is NARAL (NARAL Pro-Choice America) using a photo of a Black woman in a ad falsely saying that birth control is under attack?  Why not use a pic of Sandra Fluke?  I thought she was the latest martyr for the cause?   

Birth control is readily available at your local drug store, Dept of Health, or at Planned Parenthood for the asking.  Anybody who wants to use birth control can as ling asTHEY pay for it.  Not even a Catholic priest will stop anybody from doing so if that is what one wishes to do.

Liberals smell blood in the water and want to destroy Rush Limbaugh and the 1st amendment in one shot. GOP hiding under their beds.

After 20 years or so that Rush Limbaugh has been on air, Liberals smell blood in the water. A seek and destroy full-scale boycott effort is underway on Twitter (spearheaded by @StopRush, an online activist who led a boycott of Glenn Beck's Fox News show in 2009) and with the Daily Kos circulating a petition urging advertisers to join the protest.

However, I must point out Liberals have been falsely accusing Rush Limbaugh of being a racist, misogynist, chauvinist, homophobic, Islamphobic, boorish, divisive, and a hater for standing up for traditional values. At this point the battle is much bigger than Limbaugh calling Sandra Fluke a �slut� which under our 1st amendment as a citizen he has the right to do so. The question now becomes does the 1st amendment provision of Free Speech means what it says or does the Liberal concept of �political correctness� which has always been an attack on the 1st amendment win the day?

Do we live in a land of true freedom of expression or do Elites get to decide what can or can be said?

Thus far Rush Limbaugh has been fighting this battle virtually alone for years. A bigger scandal, I think, is how silent the Republican Party has been to defend, not Rush Limbaugh, but free speech. The GOP should be ashamed of themselves because for far too long they have acquiesced to the dictates of political correctness for political expediency. How can they look at themselves in the mirror or sleep at night knowing that freedom of speech is under attack and they just cower for fear of the barrage they would suffer to defend it? This is the time to separate the men from the boys. The GOP needs to stand up like men and defend liberty.
