This Obama strategy of attacking Romney�s experience at creating jobs at Bain Capital is really silly and its falling apart.  

ABC News reports the Obama campaign�s latest attack tells the story of workers at an Indiana office supply company who lost their jobs after a Bain-owned company named American Pad & Paper (Ampad) took over their company and drove it out of business.

Here�s what the Obama Web video doesn�t mention: A top Obama donor and fundraiser had a much more direct tie to the controversy and actually served on the board of directors at Richardson, Texas-based Ampad, which makes office paper products.

Jonathan Lavine is a long-time Bain Capital executive and co-owner of the Boston Celtics. He is also one of President Obama�s most prolific fundraisers. He has already raised more than $200,000 for the Obama campaign this election, according to Federal Election Commission records.

Think Progress reports yesterday, Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker (D) attacked the Obama campaign for making an issue of Mitt Romney�s tenure at Bain Capital during an appearance on Meet the Press. While the progressive leader later backed off the criticisms, Republicans have been quick to highlight his comments as an attack against the idea that scrutiny of Mitt Romney�s record as a businessman is fair game.

A ThinkProgress examination of New Jersey campaign finance records for Booker�s first run for Mayor � back in 2002 � suggests a possible reason for his unease with attacks on Bain Capital and venture capital. They were among his earliest and most generous backers.

Mitt Romney knows what it takes to create jobs because he�s done it.  President Obama knows how to create debt, high unemployment, and give a great speech with his trusty teleprompter. 

ABC News reports the Obama campaign is in full damage-control mode one day after Newark Mayor Cory Booker publicly derided Democrats� assault on presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney over his record at Bain Capital.

Chief Obama strategist David Axelrod today publicly rebuked Booker, a popular and high-profile surrogate for the campaign, saying he was �just wrong.�

�I love Cory Booker. He�s a great mayor. If I were, if my house was on fire, I�d hope he were my next door neighbor,� Axelrod said on MSNBC, referring to Booker�s rescue of a neighbor last month.

�I agree with what he said later. I think this was a legitimate area for discussion,� Axelrod said of Booker�s subsequent comments clarifying the issue.

As for the criticism that the Team Obama�s Bain attack is part of �nauseating� political discourse with which Booker has become �very uncomfortable,� Axelrod said, �on this particular instance he was just wrong.�

Booker is not the only Democrat to question the aggressive, negative portrayal of Romney�s work in private equity. Former Tennessee Rep. Harold Ford Jr. said today he agreed with �the substance� of Booker�s comments and �would not have backed out.�

�I agree with him, private equity is not a bad thing. Matter of fact, private equity is a good thing in many, many instances,� the Democrat said in a separate appearance on MSNBC earlier in the day.

This video is well worth a listen and hear an African American teacher that has no business in the classroom because she�s an idiot.  This is the kind of teachers we have in our classrooms teaching our kids?

Gateway Pundit reports teachers are supposed to be smarter than their students.  But, that�s not the case with a North Carolina high school Social Studies teacher, Tanya Dixon-Neeley.  After bringing up an unconfirmed claim that Mitt Romney supposedly bullied a fellow classmate in the past, one of her students mentioned, in the form of a question, that Obama admitted to bullying a classmate in his past, too.  The teacher became unhinged and started yelling.  Her force of law to shut him down was to tell the class that it was a �criminal offense� to slander the president.  The high school student�s response was to give the teacher a quick lesson on the First Amendment, saying �They cannot take away your right to have your opinion.  They can�t take that away unless you threaten the president.�

I guess Obama would�ve claimed being born in a log cabin on Mars for political advantage.  

Director Blue reports the biography provided by Barack Obama to his literary agent specified his birthplace as "Kenya". And, over the course of 17 years, despite multiple revisions by Obama, the Kenyan birthplace remained a fundamental part of the bio on the agent's website.

I've used the Wayback Archive to explore the exact transformations of Obama's biography on his agent's site (click on any of the thumbnails to zoom to a readable size).

On June 27, 1998, the website read: "BARACK OBAMA was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review. He was born in Kenya to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first book is DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE."

Obama Super Pac struggling to raise cash to match GOPers

I got an idea; maybe they can start a Gay Suoer Pac or give Bill Maher another call.

Politico reports the pro-Barack Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action is still struggling to keep up with GOP super PACs preparing to unleash millions of dollars in independent advertisements.

Priorities USA Action raised $1.6 million in April, according to federal records released late Sunday. It�s the smallest haul the group has pulled in since the meager $59,000 the group raised in January.

ABC News reports Republican House Speaker John Boehner compared trying to pass a bill in the House of Representatives to keeping �218 frogs in a wheelbarrow� on �This Week� this morning.

�I�ve never been shy about leading. But you know, leaders need followers. And we�ve got 89 brand new members. We�ve got a pretty disparate caucus,� Speaker Boehner said. �It is hard to keep 218 frogs in a wheelbarrow long enough to get a bill passed.�


Boehner was responding to my question about the perception held by some that he has had difficulty maintaining control over his caucus during his tenure � especially the GOP freshman.

ABC News reports House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi defended the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on �This Week� for sending a fundraising email that attempted to capitalize on the apparently dead advertising plan to link President Obama to Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The plan has been repudiated by Mitt Romney as well as the head of the super PAC reported to have been considering backing the plan.

�Why would we have any regrets?� asked Pelosi, dismissing Romney�s rejection of the proposed advertising campaign.

During our interview, Pelosi cited a previous attack by Romney on President Obama using Wright in which the former Bay State governor said �I�m not sure which is worse: him listening to Rev. Wright or him saying we must be a less-Christian nation� during an interview with Sean Hannity.

NAACP rubbers stamps Gay Marriage like dutiful soldiers beholden to their masters in the Democrat Party

When white folks in the Democrat Party tell the leadership in the NAACP to jump, they say, �Yaz sir Boss! How high should we be jumpin�?�  About high enough to totally disregard the overwhelming sentiment of the African American community that are against Gay Marriage. 

Politico reports the board of the NAACP, one of the nation�s oldest and largest African American advocacy organizations, has passed a resolution supporting gay marriage in the wake of President Obama�s public endorsement of same-sex unions.

�The mission of the NAACP has always been to ensure the political, social and economic equality of all people,� board chair Roslyn M. Brock said in a statement following passage of the resolution on Saturday. �We have and will oppose efforts to codify discrimination into law.�

The chairman emeritus, Julian Bond, had already pledged his support earlier this week as part of a coalition of black leaders trying to tamp down speculation that Obama�s support of gay marriage would divide the black community.

Daily Mail reports Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren is yet again in hot water after new allegations have surfaced that she plagiarized her 'Cherokee' recipes in the book Pow Wow Chow from the New York Times and other publications.

Radio talk show host Howie Carr released damning evidence that appears to confirm that Mrs Warren's weren't handed down from generation to generation, they were picked up in the newspaper.


Mrs Warren has been under scrutiny since she first claimed Native American heritage, arguing that because her great-great-great-grandmother was Cherokee, she is a member of the community.

Obama Camp decries GOP bringing up Jeremiah Wright, but uses it to fundraise

I guess the Gay cash must be drying up since LBGT rabble realized that Obama didn�t really advance their cause with action.

Hot Air reports campaign manager Jim Messina sent out a fundraising appeal Thursday night saying that the proposal, submitted to (and rejected by) a Republican super PAC, �shows in vivid and gruesome detail what the President and all of us are up against.�



He adds, �This is going to be worse than we could have imagined � Pitch in today to fight these attacks and show them this only makes us stronger.��


These Democratic efforts to promote this unaired attack is a good sign that Wright won�t come up much again this cycle. While Romney�s favorability numbers are increasing, personal likability remains solid turf for Obama. A Wright-oriented attack would likely inspire more enthusiasm in the Democratic base than in the Republican one.

The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel. 

It also promotes Obama's anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White--which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.

Krauthammer Slams Media�s �Appalling Double Standard� on Teenage Romney v Obama�s Wright

Kauthammer sure didn�t hold back:

"I think there is an appalling double standard here. It�s okay for the Washington Post to run a five thousand word front page story on a prank that Romney, at the age of 15, committed. How desperate is Barack Obama?

Desperate enough to glum onto to the accomplishments of past presidents that actually knew how to lead a country.
Fox News reports the Obama White House is drawing ridicule for appending the official online biographies of nearly every president over the last century in order to link President Obama's accomplishments to the former commanders in chief.

The Obama team went into the pages of U.S. presidents dating back to Calvin Coolidge to add friendly looking "Did you know?" fact boxes to the end of their bios. Those additions were used to plug a host of Obama administration initiatives, ranging from the health care overhaul to the so-called "Buffett Rule" to his green-energy policies.


For instance, the following line was added to the official bio of the late President Ronald Reagan: "In a June 28, 1985, speech, Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multimillionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule."

Hot Air reports I�m kind of torn on this one. On the one hand, she seems as much offended by the idea of campaign attacks generally as by the specifics of the attack on Bain and Romney. When you invite a paid flack on to shill for his candidate, don�t be surprised when he won�t concede the point that their entire line of messaging on Romney�s background in private equity is illegitimate.

New book claims Michelle Obama prepared divorce papers to separate from Barack - leaving him so depressed friends feared he'd kill himself

I remember at least seven books about George W. Bush at the end of his second term in office. President Obama is not getting a second term though.

Daily Mail reports Michelle Obama prepared divorce papers to separate from Barack Obama in 2000 following his disastrous attempt to win a House seat in Chicago, according to a new book.

When he lost miserably the future First Lady was supposedly disgusted that her husband had ignored her warnings not to take on the four term incumbent Bobby Rush.

Their marriage - in its eighth year at the time - was �on the rocks� with Mr Obama so depressed some of his friends feared he was suicidal.


The claims mark the second time the Obamas have faced allegations they were on the verge of divorce after reports in 2010 suggested they were having difficulties.

The couple have admitted that in the past they did go through a rough patch but that they patched things up and grew closer together.


The Obamas have now been married for 21 years and have two children, Malia, 13, and Sasha, nine.


In �The Amateur�, Mr Klein�s unauthorised account of Mr Obama�s life and first term in office, he claims that Mr Obama was over ambitious in his attempt to take on House member Mr Rush for the black South Side seat in Chicago.


In a crushing blow, he lost by two votes to one prompting claims from Mr Rush that he was an �educated fool�.


Mr Klein writes: �After Obama�s humiliating defeat he was broke and deeply in debt and it looked as though he might be finished in public life.
