Chicago: Easter weekend, 17 shot, 2 dead, no marches planned by Jesse Jackson

In the most danger city in the world that happens to be Jesse Jacksons hometown the carnage continues.  The city of Chicago is the Wild Wild Midwest where life is cheap, especially in the African American communities where theyre shooting each other at higher rates than parts of the world that are at war.  But, the media is more concerned about one isolated shooting in Florida (Trayvon Martin) to suit their own political agenda.
Chicago Tribune reports the 13-year-old, identified as Roberto Adrian Luna by the Cook County Medical  Examiner's Office and his family, was among three teens shot just before 10 p.m. Saturday on the 4600 block of South Spaulding Avenue in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.
Luna, who family members said goes by Adrian, was shot in the head and body and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds at 10:19 p.m., officials said.
The other two victims a 15-year-old boy shot in the forearm and thigh and a 16-year-old boy shot in the arm were taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.
All three of the victims lived on the block where they were shot, police said.
Based on reports from the first arriving officers to the scene, police are investigating the possibility that the shooting was retaliation for the shooting death of a 28-year-old woman Friday nighton the 4000 block of South Albany Avenue.
About an hour later in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side, Tonya Gist, 41, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office, was shot and killed at a home in the 300 block of West 108th Street about 11 p.m., police said. She was standing on a porch of the home with several family members when the shooting occurred, police said.
