Every day President Obama flails away and has a new demon to scare the American people with. One day its Paul Ryan budget, the other it�s the big oil companies. It�s all basically a flimflam operation to distract voters away from high gas prices, high unemployment, high rates of foreclosures, and the realization that �the one� is a media wannabe president who doesn�t know what he�s doing.
Mitt Romney is set to make his case that America needs to change direction before she goes over the cliff.
Wall Street Journal reports Mitt Romney broadened his election-year critique of President Barack Obama on Wednesday, saying he misleads Americans about his true intentions in order to win re-election.
The attack came a day after the former Massachusetts governor scored three momentum-building wins in his quest for the Republican presidential nomination and offered voters a taste of what the general election will look like if he becomes the nominee.
"With all the challenges the nation faces, this is not the time for President Obama's hide-and-seek campaign," Mr. Romney told a gathering of newspaper editors and reporters in the ballroom of a Washington, D.C., hotel.
Mr. Romney leveled his latest charges at the president from the same stage Mr. Obama used to slam the GOP front-runner a day earlier for embracing a Republican budget that he called "thinly veiled social Darwinism" and a "prescription for decline." The president also accused Republicans of favoring the wealthy at the expense of the middle class.
The back-and-forth comes as the president and Mr. Romney engage more directly ahead of an expected matchup in the general election in November.
