Jets didn�t read fine print on Tim Tebow�s contract: Trade hits a snag

I had a good laugh today when I learned the New York Jets traded for Tim Tebow, a move that makes absolutely no football sense. 

I ceased being a Jets fan after Woody Johnson brought the team. Woody is the type of stupid owner that believes in making moves that draw back page headlines and football logic is secondary.

Chicago Sun Times reports just another crazy day for the New York Jets.

Hours after the Jets announced they had agreed in principle to acquire Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos, ESPN reported that the deal hit a snag.

Tebow Time on Broadway? Well, not quite yet.

Citing anonymous sources, ESPN says Wednesday that provisions in the quarterback�s contract are causing complications in the completion of the trade. ESPN says Tebow�s contract has $5 million worth of �recapture language,� which means the Jets would have to pay back some money to the Broncos.

Jets are balking at paying the Denver Broncos $ 5 million for Tebow. It would be best for the Jets and QB Mark Sanchez psyche if this deal falls through.
