CBS News reports Arianna Huffington, founder and editor-in-chief of the The Huffington Post, called the Obama campaign's decision to tout the assassination of Osama bin Laden in a campaign advertisement "despicable." The ad questions whether presidential candidate Mitt Romney would have ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
"I don't think there should be an ad about that," Huffington said Monday on "CBS This Morning." "I think it's one thing to celebrate the fact that they did such a great job (with television specials). All that is perfectly legitimate. But to turn it into a campaign ad is one of the most despicable things you can do."

Romney responds to Obama taunts over OBL killing: �Even Jimmy Carter would have given the order!� Ouch!
Politico reports Mitt Romney, asked if he would have given the order to go after Osama bin Laden, as President Obama's new video and his campaign aides have suggested he wouldn't have done, per POLITICO's Ginger Gibson: "Of course, even Jimmy Carter would have given that order."
The question, which came on a rope line in Portsmouth, N.H., is one Romney will likely get asked repeatedly. The remark went somewhere that most Republicans haven't � the criticism has been that Obama deserves credit for the mission, but crossed the line when his team slammed Romney. This is a new level of OBL fallout, a day before the anniversary of his killing.

Sandra Fluke Files: Oklahoma Teacher's aide Tiffany Lynne Huffman jailed for sending nude photos to 16 year-old students
Daily Mail reports a teacher's aide has been jailed after sending nude photos of herself to three 16-year-old students.
U.S. marshals arrested Tiffany Lynne Huffman on charges of sexual misbehaviour.
The 28-year-old woman from Oklahoma is alleged to have struck a friendship with the three teenagers through messages on Facebook.
Police said she began having sexual conversations with each victim and eventually sent them nude photos of herself.
She also sent photos of herself in sheer lingerie via text message from her cell phone.
Court documents show that police have obtained the photos, which were sent between March 30 and April 17.
Huffman worked as a teacher's aide at the Southmoore High School, near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Obama comedy routine goes to the dogs
CNN reports President Barack Obama poked fun Saturday at everything, from the Secret Service scandal to the lavish spending by the Government Services Administration, to the upcoming general election.
However, it was a spoof about Mitt Romney and his dog Seamus that highlighted the president's monologue.
The joke recalled a political ad released by the Newt Gingrich campaign that took aim at Romney for admitting he once put his family dog in a cage and perched it on the top of his car.

The Obama camp for some reasons is continuing this idea that Mitt Romney would�ve have gone after Osama bin Laden if he were president. Is this the best Barack Obama has to criticize Mitt Romney?
Hot Air reports Robert Gibbs is the latest member of the President�s re-election team to distort comments Mitt Romney made about going after Bin Laden in 2007. Via Politico:
Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs on Sunday defended the suggestion by the president�s reelection campaign that Republican rival Mitt Romney might not have ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
�Look, just a few years ago, President Obama � then a candidate � said in a speech that if we had actionable intelligence of a high-value target in Pakistan, we�d go in and get that high value target,� Gibbs said on NBC�s �Meet the Press.� �Mitt Romney said that was foolish. He wouldn�t do such a thing. That he wouldn�t move heaven and earth to get Osama bin Laden.�
Gibbs and other Democrats have focused on comments made by Romney in April 2007, where he said �it�s not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person�. The full context of Romney�s remarks demonstrate that he was actually calling for a more strategic and expansive approach in the fight against Al Qaeda and Islamic extremism. And that the ongoing effort to capture or kill Bin Laden should not be to the detriment of the larger goals.

NewsBusters reports Dan Savage, the controversial sex advice columnist and noted anti-bullying activist, caused quite a commotion at a high school journalism convention in Seattle two weeks ago when he actually cursed at the youth audience as he spoke negatively about the Bible.

A group of high school journalism students attending a conference called �Journalism on the Edge� in Seattle over the weekend felt they were pushed over the edge by syndicated sex advice columnist Dan Savage.
Savage, the creator of the two-year-old It Gets Better Project, which encourages teens struggling with same-sex attractions to embrace homosexuality, was invited to give a keynote address last Friday at the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention.
Students were expecting him to talk about bullying. But they also got an earful about birth control, sex, and Savage�s opinions on the Bible.
A 17-year-old from California who was attending with half a dozen other students from her high school yearbook staff, was one of several students to walk out in the middle of Savage�s speech.
�The first thing he told the audience was, �I hope you�re all using birth control!� � she recalled. Then �he said there are people using the Bible as an excuse for gay bullying, because it says in Leviticus and Romans that being gay is wrong. Right after that, he said we can ignore all the �B.S.� in the Bible.

On a nightly basis, the talking heads for MSMBC advocate for a government-centered society whereby the government dictates what kind of light bulbs we use, the kinds of foods we should eat, and of course the distribution of wealth taken from the successful and given to the slothful.
They actually don�t say these things the way I explained it. They have to use deception by saying oil is dirty energy; the rich aren�t paying their �fair� share and always saying they�re out for the middle class.
But, the reality is these policies that MSNBC cheer for hasn�t worked in countries in the world where they have made it their policy. Look at Greece, Spain, Italy and France. All these countries are government-centered societies and all of them are deeply in the red and on the verge of financial collapse. In the United States, Californian is Democrat controlled-government-centered Nanny State with loads of red ink.
When all this collapses, it won�t be pretty for any us.

The US Congress froze a $192 million aid package to the Palestinian Authority after its president, Mahmoud Abbas, defied US pressure and sought to attain UN endorsement of Palestinian statehood last September. The presidential waiver means that aid can now be delivered.

Pope representatives calls for Catholic alliance with Muslim and Jewish groups to block passage of Gay Marriage in Britain
UK Telegraph reports Archbishop Antonio Mennini, the Apostolic Nuncio, called for closer co-operation with other faiths as well as Christian denominations to put pressure on the Government over its plans to allow same-sex couples to marry.
In an address to Catholic bishops from England and Wales, he echoed the recent comments of Pope Benedict who said the Church faced �powerful political and cultural currents� in favour of redefining marriage.
His comments come after a series of high-level interventions by some Muslim and Jewish leaders last month after the Equalities Minister, Lynne Featherstone, launched a national consultation on how same-sex marriage might be introduced.

Another day another shooting in Chicago: 5 Teens Shot While Waiting For Bus On South Side, no protest march planned by Jesse Jackson yet
CBS Chicago reports five teens were shot Friday afternoon while waiting for a bus in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side.
Three ambulances were sent to the shooting scene at 79th Street and Jeffery at about 3:30 p.m. According to the CTA, the victims had been waiting to board a bus there.
The victims ranged in age from 16 to 17, the Chicago Fire Department reported via Twitter. One gunshot victim, a male, was transported in critical condition to Stroger, along with a female patient. Two other victims were taken to Northwestern and South Shore Hospital, where a fifth gunshot victim walked in for treatment.

Obama Govt Gone Wild: HHS Investigating Welfare Spending at Casinos, Liquor Stores, Strip Clubs
You won�t find this story in the main stream media for obvious reasons.
Heritage reports the Administration for Children and Families, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, is investigating whether, and how, federal welfare funds have been used at liquor stores, casinos, and strip clubs � all prohibited under federal law.
Under legislation that extended a payroll tax holiday, passed by Congress and signed into law earlier this year, states are directed to prevent recipients of funds under the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program from using their benefits at �any liquor store; any casino, gambling casino, or gaming establishment; or any retail establishment which provides adult-oriented entertainment in which performers disrobe or perform in an unclothed state for entertainment.�
HHS will cut off block grants to states that do not adequately comply with the provision. States are required to report their efforts to HHS in 2014, but ACF�s Office of Family Assistance is already looking to issue a regulation that addresses the misuse of TANF funds.
Such misuse was widespread enough to require congressional action and federal enforcement.

Discovered and signed to a film contract by MGM at the age of sixteen, Turner first attracted attention in They Won't Forget (1937). She played featured roles, often as the ingenue, in such films as Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938). During the early 1940s she established herself as a leading actress in such films as Johnny Eager (1941), Ziegfeld Girl (1941) and Somewhere I'll Find You (1942). She is known as one of the first Hollywood scream queens thanks to her role in the 1941 horror film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and her reputation as a glamorous femme fatale was enhanced by her performance in the film noir The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946). Her popularity continued through the 1950s, in such films as The Bad and the Beautiful (1952) and Peyton Place (1957), for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
In 1958, her daughter, Cheryl Crane, stabbed Turner's lover Johnny Stompanato to death. A coroner's inquest brought considerable media attention to Turner and concluded that Crane had acted in self defense. Turner's next film, Imitation of Life (1959), proved to be one of the greatest successes of her career, but from the early 1960s, her roles were fewer.

New Egyptian law allows husband to have sex with dead wives 6 hours after she kicks the bucket
Daily Mail reports Egyptian husbands will soon be legally allowed to have sex with their dead wives - for up to six hours after their death.
The controversial new law is part of a raft of measures being introduced by the Islamist-dominated parliament.

Opps, he did it again. Obama's Fallon Appearance breaks Federal Campaign Law
It�s been the habit of this president to routinely break the law going back to imposing a moritrium on oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico in violation of a stay from a Federal court judge.
Big Hollywood reports President Obama appeared on Jimmy Fallon�s unwatchable show to �slow-jam the news.� By this, Fallon meant that Obama would read a campaign speech about student loans, Fallon would utter a few lines to back him up every so often, and his lead band singer would warble in support of Obama�s propaganda.
Only one problem, aside from the fact that this was possibly the worst �comedy� segment in the history of mankind: it violated campaign finance law.
The equal time rule states that if a licensee permits a person �who is a legally qualified candidate for any public office to use a broadcasting station, he shall afford equal opportunities to all other such candidates for that office in the use of such broadcasting station.�
Not only was this appearance in violation of equal time law, it was clearly an in-kind contribution by NBC to the Obama campaign. As the Federal Elections Commission states, �A donation of services is � considered an in-kind contribution.� Under applicable law, contribution of broadcast time is considered such a service. This was a campaign commercial for Obama, and the Obama campaign was not charged for it. A minute of network time can cost up to a couple million dollars; this segment ran a full five minutes. There is no doubt that Obama was given millions of dollars of free advertising time, and the Romney campaign should invoke all available law to make that clear.

Hot Air reports Matt Lewis wrote this morning that Obama vs. Romney is starting to look a bit like a �Mac vs. PC� commercial. Here�s the RNC kinda sorta embracing that framework to make the point that what America has with The One is the policy equivalent of a Sad Mac. Lewis:
Republicans, of course, will claim the contrast favors them � that last night demonstrated a serious candidate talking about serious issues � versus someone �slow-jamming� with a comedian (while the economy crumbles).
