Antonio Cromartie�s wife Terricka faked a suicide attempt and take for Psych evaluation

Sporting News reports Antonio Cromartie's wife, Terricka Cason Cromartie, faked committing suicide during an incident earlier this month, according to the New York Post.

The New York Jets cornerback received texts from Terricka, who is seven-months pregnant, that were published by The Post: "God forgive me, I don�t want to die. What have I done? � I cut my wrists. I took those pills."

Cromartie called police at 2:43 a.m. He was away in Miami. "There�s a problem at my house. She�s bleeding. She cut her wrists," Cromartie reportedly told a dispatcher.

But Terricka was in bed with her two daughters when police broke down the couple's door. Her explanation? She said the following, according to the police report: "She stated that she had no intention of going through with the act. She said she was exercising her First Amendment right to free speech and could say whatever she wanted."
