Its time to close ranks behind Romney!
CNN reports while stopping short of a full-throated endorsement, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Sunday predicted Mitt Romney will become the Republican presidential pick and trumpeted the former Massachusetts governor as an outstanding nominee.
I think he's going to be an excellent candidate, and I think the chances are overwhelming that he will be our nominee, McConnell said on CNNs State of the Union.

I think theres a lot of bluster coming from the Obama camp when they say theyre ready to take on Mitt Romney. When comparing both men on an educational basis, the highest academic achievement, I think, Obama has is his law degree from Harvard. I dont know if he really has it because all his college transcripts havent been released to the public. Romney has a law degree/MBA from Harvard. Advantage Romney.

ESPN analyst former coach Bobby Knight caught sleeping on-air College GameDay set
Look at the second guy from the left.
Ill cut Bobby a break. Being a bully for so many years can be tiring.
The Huffington Post reports from the players and coaches all the way through the roving media contingent, March Madness can be exhausting for everyone involved. It appeared on Saturday that former coach and current ESPN analyst Bob Knight may succumbed to the mounting exhaustion. Of course, he may have just been upset because he actually said the word "Kentucky" last week. But all signs in this video point to the former coach sleeping on the air.

Mets Name Johan Santana Opening Day Starter
Great news for Mets fans!
CBS News reports Johan Santana will start for the New York Mets on opening day.
The left-hander, who is returning from shoulder surgery performed nearly 19 months ago, met with manager Terry Collins in his office before Collins announced his decision to have him pitch against Atlanta on Thursday.
After we talked to Johan yesterday after he threw, I walked by him and he said to me at the end, Youve got your pitcher for Thursday, Collins said.

Thats some good news at least for the Mets.

Rick Santorum wants to walk around with a fork in his back: Ssays hes not dropping out even if he loses in Wisconsin
I pronounced Rick dead a couple of weeks ago when said the country was better off with Obama than voting in Mitt Romney. At this point he and Newt are prolonging the inevitable.
The Hill reports GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum said his campaign will not end Tuesday, even if he loses the Wisconsin primary.
Were moving forward, were setting up our teams for the 26th. The map in May looks very, very good for us, Santorum said on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.

Santorum and Gingrich need to just go away or get on board the Romney train to defeat President Obama. The party is over fellas, turn off the light the party is over.

Mets' Lucas Duda is an unassuming guy with powerful potential
Not much is expected from the Mets this year. Perhaps that a good thing? But, Lucas Duda may be a bright spot that I look forward to see at the ballpark.
NJ com reports Lucas Duda squinted into the morning glare. The sun was blinding, but he still stared straight ahead. He leaned back into a blue dugout wall and snorted.
Dude, he said last week, Im the most uninteresting person in the world.
A clump of blond hair jutted out above his right ear. His voice was quiet, rising when lawn mowers rumbled past. To interview Duda is to study the side of his head and experience an expert at monosyllabic discourse practice his craft. He displays little interest in discussing his future as the Mets next homegrown slugger.
Dudas teammates chuckle at his wit, and his coaches praise his on-field maturity. His manager gushes about the power packed within his 6-4, 255-pound frame. He exists within a protective shell, friends say, that takes time to crack.
Duda, 26, is a reserved person, a private person, a person disinterested in exuding false confidence. He tells his father he doesnt understand the trappings of fame the adulation, the requests for autographs, the relentless attention. The game, he says, is enough.
This may be a problem.
Because fame could be coming for Lucas Duda this season. He can tune his dial low, but his presence and potential make that near-impossible. He will be the starting right fielder on Opening Day, and bat sixth. He emerged as the teams most consistent hitter during the final three months of 2011, and has clubbed the Grapefruit League this spring.
His potential with the bat is unlimited, says hitting coach David Hudgens.
Which is why you will soon get to know Duda well even if he doesnt quite get what all the fuss is about.

Bad day for Femma Nags: Consensual sex can lead to as many injuries as rape, new study shows
So much for crying rape after the fact.
Daily Mail reports vaginal injuries are as common in voluntary sex as they are in rapes, a new study indicates.
The research carried out in Denmark casts doubt on the commonly held view that vaginal injuries are evidence that intercourse has been forced.
When police officers around the world investigate rape cases, the presence of lesions inside a woman's vagina is taken as an indicator of whether she has been assaulted.

NBC News caught of Editing 911 Call in Trayvon Martin case to make Zimmerman look racist in a greater scheme to re-elect Barack Obama
Im not shocked although it is outrageous given the fact NBC is the #1 shill for President Obama. Although all the networks are pro-Obama, no other network is as shameless and does more cheerleading than NBC and MSNBC.
Hollywood Reporter reports critics say the "Today" show attempted to incite racial anger when it cut crucial seconds from audio of a phone call placed by George Zimmerman just before he killed the teenager.
NBC News is being excoriated in some circles with competitor Fox News Channel leading the charge for selectively editing audio of the 911 call placed by George Zimmerman just before he killed Trayvon Martin.
The NBC segment in question featured anchor Ron Allen and ran on the Today show on Tuesday. On Thursday, Sean Hannity and guest Brent Bozell played the NBC version of the 911 call and compared it with the unedited version.
In the NBC segment, Zimmerman says: This guy looks like hes up to no good. He looks black.
The full version, though, unfolds like this:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like hes up to no good, or hes on drugs or something. Its raining and hes just walking around, looking about.
911 operator: Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?
Zimmerman: He looks black.

NBC gave Al Sharpton, a certified charlatan and tax dodger his own show as a way to directly key in to the African American community and make sure they turn out in bigger numbers for Barack Obama. Sharpton isnt a professional journalist; hes a rabble rouser and race baiter for the Democrat Party. Yet, NBC is so desperate to get Obama re-elected, they hire Sharpton. I have no doubt that NBC like other operatives for the Democrat Party see the Trayvon Martin case as a means to agitate people and work them into a frenzy so they can then harness all that energy for a drive to re-elect Obama. This is already happening on black radio stations across they country. Theyre all beating the drums for Obama.
ITS NOT ABOUT TRAYVON, hes just a tool to serve a greater purpose. And that purpose is four more years of Obama.
